Noam is a Sabra, meaning he was born in Israel (Jerusalem). He was raised in the digs of the desert with his father, who was a renowned archaeologist in Israel, and he served in the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) as a tank commander in the first Lebanon war. After living in Japan for over 20 years, he returned to Israel, where he found Yeshua, his Messiah.
Deborah gave her heart to the Lord at a Billy Graham Crusade when she was nine years old. Years later, the Lord called her into the ministry. As a pastor, Deborah’s eyes were opened to the reality of the Jewish roots of the Christian faith. She has been teaching the Word of God for more than thirty years, both in America and around the world, presenting the gospel and the truth of who Yeshua is – the King of the Jews.
Together, Noam and Deborah are an example of the One New Man, Jew and Gentile, walking together as one in the Messiah. They have devoted their lives and ministry to teaching the Church about her Jewish roots, and to being a light to the lost sheep of Israel.
Their purpose is to turn the compass of our hearts toward Zion, knowing that there we will find the missing puzzle piece of our faith, so that together we can all declare “Our God Reigns in Zion!"
How do they meet all these people? By reaching out, smiling at someone, commenting on something they say or do or wear! It starts a conversation and turns into some amazing friendships and connections. Everywhere they go - whether a coffee shop, grocery store, bank or gas station. They look beyond what they are needing to do, to see the one who the Lord wants them to meet. They ask questions, they listen and hear the hearts of the people. These are only a few of the people they have met - not by someone else connecting them, but by just reaching out and showing the love of Yeshua, sometimes without even a word.
